Amanda is an associate in the pensions and benefits and civil litigation groups.  Her practice focuses on plan administration, design, investment and governance of both single and multi-employer pension plans, as well as representation of individuals, unions, and boards of trustees in legal disputes before tribunals and courts. She has acted as counsel in administrative and civil matters as well as class proceedings before the Financial Services Tribunal, the Ontario Superior Court, and the Courts of Appeal of Ontario and British Columbia.  She also advises and represents employees and unions on other legal matters arising from the employment relationship.

Prior to joining Cavalluzzo, Amanda practiced in the pensions area with another employee-side firm, as well as at a major national firm.

Amanda’s articles on pension and benefits issues have appeared in Benefits Canada, Employee Benefits News Canada, and the Lawyers Weekly, among other industry and legal publications.  She frequently presents on pension and benefits issues.  In 2008-2009, she sat on the Executive of the Ontario Bar Association Pensions and Benefits section, and remains a member of that section along with the Civil Litigation section.
