Immanuel practices in the firm's education group and in its labour law group, working with industrial and retail clients.
Immanuel practices law in both English and French.
Immanuel joined the firm as an associate in 2009, having articled with the firm in 2008. firm. Prior to that he was a summer student in government.
Immanuel completed his law degree at Queen's University, Faculty of Law. During his studies, Immanuel was actively involved in the Society of Asians in Law, the Queen's Law Human Rights Club, the Equity Committee, and the organization of a conference on alternative legal careers (Paths Less Traveled),
Throughout law school, Immanuel was a caseworker with Queen's Legal Aid, where he represented clients before administrative tribunals and in relation to provincial offences.
Immanuel is a member of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers, the Ontario Bar Association, and is on the board of directors for the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers, of which he is a founding member.
