On June 30, 2008, Ontario’s new human rights enforcement regime comes into force. As of June 30, 2008, applications alleging violations of the Human Rights Code will be filed directly with the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (“the Tribunal”) rather than with the Ontario Human Rights Commission.
