Please note that at present, we have filled our available positions for the 2025-26 articling term. If a position becomes available in the future, we will update our website accordingly.
Cavalluzzo is looking for students who show a strong interest in union-side labour and social justice. Our current practice is to hire four articling students per year. Although not essential to a successful articling application, most students who are offered articles with the firm demonstrate an interest in our areas of practice and highlight that interest in their application material.
Applications should include a résumé, the names of two to three references and/or reference letters, as well as information on how we can contact these references during November, and transcripts from law school, undergraduate and graduate school (if applicable). We place considerable weight on applicants’ performance in personal interviews.
We follow the Law Society's procedures governing articling recruitment by firms located in Toronto, which may be obtained from the Law Society of Ontario website.
For those students selected for an interview, we require a writing sample (i.e., appropriately anonymized pleadings or submissions from clinic work, or a law school paper or research assignment).
Cavalluzzo is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from equity deserving groups, including women, Black, Indigenous, and other people of colour, persons with disabilities, and members of LGBTQIA2S+ communities.
Cavalluzzo is committed to accessible employment practices that are in compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act ('AODA'). If you require accommodation for a disability during any stage of the recruitment process, please notify studentcommittee@cavalluzzo.com.
Please send application materials by email in a single pdf; our system will not accept zip or other compressed files.
Applications should be sent to:
