ONCA confirms Bill 124 is unconstitutional for unionized workers

As of February 23, 2024, the Ontario government has officially repealed Bill 124 Wage Restraint legislation.

Earlier this month, the Ontario Court of Appeal released its decision that Bill 124 is unconstitutional for unionized workers.

The Government of Ontario announced that it would not seek leave to appeal the ONCA's decision, and it officially repealed the legislation on February 23, 2024.
